Oakwood Electric & Generator Grows Skills, Learns Best Practices at Generac Dealer Conference
Westmont, IL February 14, 2013 – Oakwood Electric & Generator recently attended Generac’s sixth annual dealer conference, held January 7 – 9 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Hotel in Orlando, Fla. At the conference, Generac’s president and CEO Aaron Jagdfeld educated dealers on the company’s direction and key initiatives. Russ Minick, executive vice president, residential products, introduced dealers to new programs and tools developed exclusively to help them better serve customers and manage their operations efficiently. Dealers also had the opportunity to meet with key Generac employees and network with other business owners to exchange ideas and best practices.

Begun in 2007, Generac’s dealer conferences provide product and market training, vendor showcases, and new product introductions to Generac dealers. Over 1100 representatives of the more than 4800 Generac dealers attended this year’s four-day conference.
